Conception Bay Regional Museum

Located in the former Customs House (1870), the Museum’s exhibits focus on the history of piracy, early aviation, and mercantilism in Harbour Grace. The grounds feature a park for visitors and an exceptional view of the bay and Harbour Grace Islands. Nearby, visitors can view two HSMBC monuments dedicated to Rev. Municipality of Spaniard's Bay

Spaniard's Bay is located on the Baccalieu Trail on Route 70 and is the largest bay in Conception Bay. The Town of Spaniard's Bay was incorporated as a municipality on June 8, 1965. In 1991, the neighbouring community of Tilton was amalgamated as part of the new Municipality of Spaniard's Bay. The population today is 2694. It is a vibrant and growing community with all the modern conveniences yet, is able to maintain a small-town atmosphere. Spaniard's Bay is centrally located, close to large shopping centers, a hospital and is just a 45-minute drive to the capital city of St. John's.

The Port de Grave Peninsula Heritage Society is a volunteer organization dedicated to preserving the history of the area through the written word and the maintenance of heritage structures in the area.

Wooden Boat Museum of

Newfoundland and Labrador
